Supply Desk are pleased to be working with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Maidstone, Kent, seeking a dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position runs until July 2026, with the opportunity to work within a nurturing environment where both children and staff thrive.

The Role:

Deliver inspiring and well-structured lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Support children's learning and development through play-based and structured activities
Create a warm, positive, and inclusive learning environment that fosters confidence and curiosity
Work collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher and Early Years support staff
Carry out planning, preparation, and assessment to meet the diverse needs of pupils
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including school events and team meetings
What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to implement it effectively
Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learners
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A nurturing, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
