I.C.E Laboratory Test Technician - (phone number removed) - Warwick - £21.88/hr - Inside IR35

What You Will Do:

Support the operation of advanced test cells, ensuring smooth preparation and testing of internal combustion engines.
Collaborate with engineers, academics, and third-party teams to deliver precise and efficient engine testing.
Install and maintain instrumentation, such as thermocouples and pressure transducers, to ensure accurate test results.
Conduct maintenance activities and assist with the upkeep of laboratory equipment, ensuring facilities remain in optimal working order.
Help develop test methodologies and provide technical input to meet customer requirements.
Share knowledge and support team members in familiarising themselves with equipment and processes.
What You Will Bring:

Solid experience working with internal combustion systems, including both spark and compression ignition engines.
Hands-on skills in engine disassembly, assembly, and inspection.
Expertise in instrumentation installation and practical understanding of testing methodologies.
A recognised qualification such as a City & Guilds Level 3 in a relevant discipline or a full time-served apprenticeship.
Any additional skills in fabrication, welding, or machining would be advantageous.
