TeamJobs is looking for a Manufacturing Software Engineer to join our exclusive client in Shrewbury

Location: Shrewsbury, UK
Rate: £20.85 to £21.90 per hour (depend on experience)
Contract: 12 months (Potential for extension)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times)
Onsite Role: 5 days a week

What You'll Do

Develop and implement Power BI dashboards to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Collaborate with the integration team to connect the new MRP system with Power BI.
Work closely with manufacturing engineers to automate reporting and eliminate manual processes.
Design and deploy solutions that provide real-time visibility into production, inventory, and performance data.
Ensure seamless data flow between EAP, QAD, and Microsoft 365 systems.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

Power BI expertise (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX formulas).
Strong team collaboration skills.
Ability to analyze and integrate manufacturing data from multiple sources.Nice-to-Have Experience:

Hands-on knowledge of MRP, EAP, or QAD systems.
Manufacturing/Automotive/Engineering industry experience (e.g., engine building).
Software development lifecycle understanding (3+ years in system/software development).
Microsoft 365 proficiency (basic knowledge required).
