Are you an inspiring and passionate Music Teacher dedicated to nurturing musical talent and fostering a lifelong appreciation for sound and expression in young minds? Our Outstanding school in London is seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time Teacher of Music to join our vibrant and successful Performing Arts department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the musical journeys of students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Music), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Music or relevant vocational qualifications) within a supportive and ambitious educational environment.

In this rewarding full-time role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Spark Musical Exploration: Deliver engaging and practical Music lessons that introduce students to diverse genres, instruments, and musical traditions, fostering a deep understanding of composition, performance, and listening skills.

  • Contribute to a Collaborative Department: Join a supportive and innovative Performing Arts team that values teamwork, shared best practice, and a collective commitment to student success and artistic excellence.

  • Thrive in a Diverse Community: Engage with students from a wide range of backgrounds across London, celebrating and exploring the rich musical tapestry of the city and its global influences.

  • Shape Future Artists & Performers: Play a key role in guiding A-Level students towards further study at leading conservatoires and universities, and successful careers in performance, composition, music technology, education, and other creative industries.

  • Lead Extracurricular Activities: Direct choirs, orchestras, bands, or other ensembles, fostering a vibrant musical community within the school.

    We are looking for a passionate and qualified Music Teacher with QTS and strong instrumental/vocal proficiency across various musical styles. A proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that ignite a fascination with music and foster strong practical and theoretical skills is essential.
