Network & Security Manager – 6-month contract 

The Network & Security Manager will work closely with the broader Technology Team, particularly the Digital Technology Team, to lead, manage, and evolve their infrastructure and security operations. Your expertise will drive their enterprise security architecture, service delivery, compliance, and business continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities for the Network & Security Manager:

Lead and manage infrastructure and security operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Oversee security vulnerability management, incident response, and enterprise security architecture design.
Drive the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure technologies, including cloud environments, network security, and endpoint management.
Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and IT service delivery.
Experience & Skills Required by the Network & Security Manager

Service & Security Expertise:

Proven ability to deliver service level agreements (SLAs) and manage application/infrastructure service delivery.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and handling security vulnerabilities.
Technical Mastery:

Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and network administration protocols.
Expertise in Windows servers, SQL databases, and monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
Nutanix HCI, AWS, Microsoft Azure, SD-WAN, Cisco WLC, Ubiquiti, and Meraki wireless.
Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, 802.1x, Microsoft AD, GPOs, and system management tools like Quest KACE.
Cloud security knowledge, including Akamai cloud firewall protection.
Cloud & Modern Tech Stack Knowledge:

Solid AWS cloud architecture expertise, including:
Serverless and event-driven orchestration
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines
Modern data lakes, AI concepts, and databases (Snowflake, relational & non-relational)
Security Leadership & Compliance:

Experience in enterprise security architecture and security document creation.
Ability to design and deliver security awareness training across the organization.
Agile & Strategic Thinking:

Extensive experience working in agile environments.
Ability to translate security and infrastructure needs into business-focused solutions.
