Power BI Developer Contract role. Crewe, £350 per day

Lead BI Developer

A specialist reinsurance broker are looking for a Power BI enthusiast to join their growing team in Central London - hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office.

The business is relatively "new" to the market, meaning they have no legacy systems, and they are incredibly digitally driven - they truly are a modern broker built for today's world, with incredibly forward-thinking working practices.

Working within the Data team, you will lead on the end-to-end delivery of insightful Power BI reporting solutions for various stakeholders on a global scale. This will involve scoping and gathering requirements, developing the solution itself, and then delivering actionable business insights.

So whilst this is a very technical role, it will also involve lots of stakeholder engagement, and would be well-suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You'll also get involved in Data Engineering projects - they're currently operating on an Azure Data Platform, with plans to move to a multi-cloud platform using Google Cloud later this year - offering the chance to broaden your skills with new and emerging technologies!

Requirements :

Excellent Power BI development experience with use of DAX
Power BI administration experience
SQL / T-SQL and data modelling skills
Experience working in an Azure environment - exposure to Data Factory, Data Lake etc.
Some Data Engineering experience such as ETL
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBenefits:
