Avanti Recruitment is currently partnered with an industry-leading software company that produces bespoke software solutions. The company specializes in Microsoft Azure Cloud development, promoting and utilizing its security, automation, resiliency, and sustainability. They are looking for a Fully Remote .NET Developer to join their dynamic team, working on a range of Greenfield projects.

The company is part of a larger group of companies, leveraging a strong background in the insurance industry and extensive experience developing white-label services. This puts them in a unique position to work with companies looking to upgrade from legacy systems and modernize their software solutions.

This is a Fully Remote role, although the company’s offices are based in Colchester, and the team is spread across the UK. The team prides itself on having a great structure, working in an agile environment. They have peer-reviewed coding practices in place, written coding standards, unit testing, and a well-established Azure DevOps structure. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, allowing you to gain exposure to different areas and utilize your strengths.

The company also places a high priority on professional development, allocating time for training and certifications. With 8 hours a month dedicated to learning and growth, the company ensures its developers stay ahead in their field.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide input on application specifications and implement them to company standards.

Peer review team members’ work to maintain quality control.

*

Maintain the highest standard of security for web applications.

Technical Stack:

*

Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework.

*

Frontend: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery.

*

Cloud: Azure, Azure DevOps.

*

Database: SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio.

*

Mobile: Xamarin.Forms for mobile app development.

Additional Desired Skills:

*

Experience in the Financial Services/Insurance industry is a plus.

*

Strong written English for documentation purposes.
