Senior .NET Developer / Software Developer / Web - agency - ecommerce

Colchester / Remote UK - we’re really flexible and open

£50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus, benefits and training

Six years ago, two respected Developers joined forces to start a new agency. They focused on few but high quality clients and now deliver digital solutions in sports, hospitality, the motor world and more. Their ethos remains; high quality digital solutions that can be relied upon by millions of users each year and only a few clients.

With two very complex and high profile projects next in the pipeline, they need extra resource to continue to deliver the best they can. They need you.

What they look for:

Deep understanding of data / data processes / API design / web services
Good knowledge of Relational databases/NoSQL databases
Good working knowledge of .NET and preferably .NET based CMS products (i.e., Umbraco, Optimizely / Episerver)

Be comfortable in the current web development / service tech stack below:
• .NET Framework, .NET Core (with upcoming shift to .NET 10).
• ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Web API / Web API 2 and OAuth 2.0
• Relational and NoSQL Databases.
• Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
• JavaScript ES5/ES6, TypeScript.
• CSS: SASS and understanding of task runners: GULP/GRUNT.
• Deep understanding of website optimizations and analysis Lighthouse scoring system and metrics.
• Good working knowledge of Version Control Systems like GIT / SVN.
• Agile development using Scrum.
• Agile practices (CI, CD, BDD, TDD).

Desirable Skills:
• AWS and Azure as hosting environments.
• High traffic eCommerce retailing experience.
• Working knowledge of React, Vue, Angular
• Implementing headless CMS and SPAs

You will get to work on complex, high profile web solutions with high volume of traffic and complicated, beautiful ecommerce integrations.

You will work closely with the founders, both brilliant coders still at the top of their game.
