Urgently Needed: Enthusiastic Science Teacher - Immediate September Start in Hatfield, Hertfordshire (Autumn Term)

Are you a dedicated Science Teacher ready to spark curiosity and foster discovery in young minds? A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire is urgently seeking a full-time Science Teacher to begin this September. This temporary role for the Autumn Term could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Become part of a supportive school community that values individuality, with small class sizes (2 to 8 students) that allow for personalised, impactful teaching and learning.

This vacancy has arisen due to recent staffing changes, and the school is looking for someone who can bring clarity, structure, and enthusiasm to their Science department from day one.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

UK QTS or equivalent qualification/experience

A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in UK secondary schools

Confidence in planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Strong classroom management and organisational abilities

Availability to work full-time from September through December

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

A genuine passion for Science and the ability to inspire learners

Excellent communication skills with students and colleagues

The legal right to work in the UK
