Rate: £700 per day (umbrella)

Our client is looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer to spearhead data remediation efforts for a critical market platform initiative. What You'll Do:

Lead the Charge: Direct data remediation efforts to ensure the successful delivery of our critical markets platform.
Design & Develop: Create and maintain sophisticated Data Products, ensuring they are clean, maintainable, and efficient.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough implementation reviews and oversee all aspects of data product delivery to maintain high standards and foster knowledge sharing.
Evaluate & Recommend: Assess and suggest tools, technologies, and processes to enhance our product platform's quality.
Champion Best Practices: Identify and implement cutting-edge data engineering practices that set us apart.
Solve Problems: Utilize your exceptional analytical skills to resolve complex data issues and technical challenges.
Mentor & Guide: Provide invaluable guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow and excel.
Ensure Security: Leverage your strong understanding of data security principles and secure architectural practices to protect our data assets.
Embrace DevOps: Apply your knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline our workflows.
Agile Management: Manage tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery through Agile methodologies.
Communicate Effectively: Foster open communication with team members and stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and informed.
Data Governance: Take accountability for custodianship and governance activities on the data assets produced and consumed by our platform.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on solution design and delivery.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
In-depth knowledge of data security principles and best practices in data governance.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
