About The Role
Team – CRM
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
The main part of the role is building emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. So you’ll need solid experience in building emails in HTML and a strong desire to learn more about CRM. The team will support you in expanding your CRM knowledge - dynamic content, data segmentation, automated emails, writing SQL and generally learning about Vitality.
You’ll work closely with the rest of the CRM team, stakeholders (who brief in campaigns), designers, copy writers, data analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud development teams. We send a lot of ad hoc emails, because things at Vitality are always changing and moving forwards.
Vitality isn’t your typical insurer. It won’t be policy and claims documents emails you build. We’re focused on maximising member engagement in the Vitality Programme to help them live happier, healthier lives. And we have a whole suite of brands we partner with to help members achieve this. So the emails and campaigns have a real variety to them. Think discounts, prize draws, information on new partners, newsletter, educational comms around the Vitality Programme and healthy tips.
Our brand identity makes our emails stand out – no stock photography or insurance jargon here. You’ll get be creative with email design, but if that’s not your strong point then we have designers to help.

Key Actions
Strategy

Provide advice to stakeholders throughout the end-to-end campaign process around segmentation, design, expected engagement and automation.
Support the CRM Marketing Manager in the creation and implementation of the CRM marketing strategy leading to development in process, best practice and innovation.Execution

Identify and implement opportunities for enhanced personalisation to drive increased engagement.
Manage stakeholder relationships to get the best results from campaigns.
Identify and develop testing opportunities and methods to optimise campaign engagement.
Continuously develop and grow the creative approach of Vitality comms alongside our design team, while keeping within our brand guidelines.
Identify opportunities for automation to remove manual processes.
Take an innovation first approach to Vitality comms utilising internal experts, AI and first party data to drive decision making.
Feed into the central email calendar which communicates all planned SFMC communications activity.What do you need to thrive?

Proven experience working with a CRM system (ideally SFMC), focusing on email
Hands on experience with HTML – good level of understanding and confident in editing
High attention to detail across data, design and copy
Customer-orientated thinker
Strong stakeholder management skills
Team player who can work in a collaborative environment and enjoys knowledge sharing
Ability to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
