Software Developer – Java | 2x a month onsite | Up to 12% bonus + Car Allowance

Are you a talented Java Developer looking for an exciting new challenge? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Software Developer to help us shape the future of digital solutions within a leading construction company. Join the team in either Birmingham or Warrington.

In this role you’ll be contributing to the development of cutting-edge software that drives innovation in the construction sector. This is a great opportunity to develop frontend skills while focusing on Java backend development.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software that powers real-world construction applications.
• Work in a dynamic, Agile team, collaborating with business and technical experts to deliver software that makes a difference.
• Design and implement new features, ensuring smooth user experiences and effective functionality across platforms.
• Create clean, maintainable code with future scalability and security in mind.
• Solve complex problems and innovate with the latest technologies to keep applications ahead of the curve.

What They’re Looking For:
• 3-4 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Java (Jakarta EE/Java EE/Java SE experience is desirable).
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and an understanding of front-end development (TypeScript/Angular experience is a plus).
• Experience with SQL and database development
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, but also has the drive to work independently.
