I'm looking for an experienced SQL Database Developer to join a small and growing technology company, who have developed a cutting-edge analytics platform using AI and Azure technologies, to help their clients make more informed data-driven decisions.

Their HQ is in Leeds, but they are open to considering candidates across the UK who are able to travel to Leeds at least once per quarter.

The analytics platform is based on Microsoft SQL databases, and you will work as part of an experienced Development Team to support the ongoing development of the platform, which is currently deployed to numerous customers.

Your key tasks will include creating and optimising database queries, and returning data sets for the frontend of the web application. You will develop, implement and optimise stored procedures and functions, and create new tables as new modules are added to the product over time.

The idea is that you will use dynamic SQL skills to facilitate a fully repeatable solution that is completely industry agnostic, and therefore can be used by a variety of customers.

This is a really unique opportunity to work on the development of a state-of-the-art analytics platform using the latest technologies. They also have a massive focus on helping their clients to become more environmentally sustainable through the use of their platform, giving real meaning to your work.

Requirements:

Background in SQL Development roles
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming - including developing, implementing and optimising stored procedures, functions and queries
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Any knowledge of Azure technologies would be helpful but not essentialBenefits:

Salary up to £50-65,000 depending on experience
Pension - total of 8% with 3% company contribution
Annual leave - 24 days plus bank holidays
Share option scheme - available after one year of service
