Urgent Test Manager role - must have Insurance experience

Duration: 6 months

Hybrid - 2 days in London office

Job Description: -

Good experience in Insurance domain (General Insurance) is a must i.e. should have good knowledge of Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Finance & Credit Control. i.e. how various applications are interconnected from Case creation, PAS (Policy Admin System) policy creation, Reinsurance, Claims, MDM/RDM (Master & Reference Data management sources for Trade codes, Broker codes, NAICS, Zip code/addresses etc) is linked with various applications. Knowledge of End to End data flow within these applications

Data analysis & data testing background is a must have.

Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills i.e. Needs to be outspoken & able to interact with different vendors & business stakeholders

Good Experience of Test Planning, co-ordination & Management. Should be able to form the Test Approach & give direction to team to guide them

Good Experience of UAT Planning & Management (UAT co-ordination).

Should be able to Monitor, Track and do Status Reporting of large-scale projects.

Should be able to schedule project reviews, audits, and track resulting actions.

Exposure to all stages of Software Testing Life Cycle is a must.

Act as a primary point of contact for Testing

Needs to ensure Testers have the correct accesses & permissions – communicate requirements to Administrator prior to testing.

Resolve issues, clarify test steps, and provide guidance to Testers where necessary.

Provide daily updates to Project manager/Scrum Master and Stakeholders

Triage defects to appropriate tech teams.

Excellent analytical, communication, presentation & people management skills.

Excellent client relationship management, team building skills, strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.

Technical Skills:

Data Analysis, Migration / ETL Testing (Must)

Web application Testing (Must)

API testing experience (Preferred), SOAP UI/Postman - Preferred

Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Expertise in Jira

Basic understanding automation testing processes & tools (Selenium, Tosca)

Should have basic understanding performance testing processes & tools (Jmeter / Loadrunner)

Process Skills:

Testing life Cycle

Testing Deliverables

Testing Process Overall

Good experience on Agile testing methodology and process around testing delivery

Behavioral Skills:

Analytical ability and good interpersonal skills

Good attitude/displaying commitment to work.

Flexibility towards work assignments (ownership is very important)

Good team player

Should be able to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
