Yard Operative– East Sussex

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 OTE
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am – 5:30pm (39 hours/week)

Immediate start available

A well-established and growing manufacturer is looking for reliable and motivated Yard Operatives / Production Operators to join their team at a key site. Due to increased production demands, they are expanding their workforce to meet growing customer needs.

The Yard Operative will be responsible for:

Building clamp floors and stacking bricks manually using jigs and scaffold boards
Loading and stacking dried bricks throughout the day, ensuring airflow and fire holes
Assisting with the ignition and monitoring of brick clamps
Sorting, checking, and packing finished bricks
General cleaning and supporting maintenance across the site
The ideal candidate will have:

A strong work ethic and hands-on approach
Good attention to detail
Physical robustness and ability to handle manual work
Health and Safety conscious
Experience in a labouring or production environment (preferred, not essential)
Team player with a positive attitude
