Contract Role: Aladdin Data Consultant / Data Engineer

Rate: Up to £550 per day, Outside IR35

Working patterns: Fully-remote

Start date: ASAP (within 1 month)

We’re supporting a specialist financial technology consultancy delivering high‑impact BlackRock Aladdin programmes for institutional investment clients. They’re seeking an experienced consultant‑level contractor who combines deep Aladdin data knowledge with strong data engineering skills, particularly in Snowflake.

The role:

- Own the analysis and interpretation of Aladdin investment, risk, performance, and operational data

- Design and build scalable data models and pipelines within Snowflake

- Translate business and investment requirements into robust data solutions, reporting, and dashboards

- Lead data integration, validation, reconciliation, and quality control across Aladdin datasets

- Partner closely with stakeholders across front office, risk, operations, and technology

What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience working with BlackRock Aladdin (data, analytics, implementation, or operations)

- Strong data engineering capability: Snowflake, advanced SQL, data modelling, transformations

- Solid understanding of investment management concepts (portfolios, holdings, benchmarks, performance, risk)

- Comfortable operating as a trusted consultant, owning workstreams and engaging senior stakeholders
