I'm currently working with a well-known national charity looking to hire an Azure Data Engineer to join their data and technology team during a significant transformation programme. The organisation is moving towards a Microsoft-based technology stack and is looking for someone who can help develop a more integrated, efficient and scalable data environment.

The role will work across the full data journey, with a particular focus on integration and data warehousing. You'll help bring data from external sources into the organisation's Azure environment and operational systems, while also using Microsoft Fabric to transform and structure data for warehousing, reporting and analytics.

The role would suit an Azure Data Engineer, Data Integration Developer or BI Developer who combines strong integration experience with hands-on data warehousing knowledge. Salesforce and charity/fundraising experience would be advantageous but aren't essential.

The Azure Data Engineer will:
* Develop integrations and data pipelines to bring data from external sources into Azure and core operational systems
* Build and develop data warehousing solutions using Microsoft Fabric, transforming data for reporting and analytics
* Work hands-on with SQL, APIs, ETL processes and Python to automate and improve existing data processes
* Support the integration of systems including Salesforce, alongside the organisation's wider move towards the Microsoft technology stack
* Bring strong Azure and data integration experience alongside hands-on Microsoft Fabric/data warehousing knowledge; Salesforce and charity experience would be advantageous but aren't essential
