We are seeking an experiencedData Architect to play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving a modern data platform. This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic data initiatives, implement Data Mesh principles, and help create scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that support business growth.

The Role

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing data platform architecture, ensuring data products are scalable, interoperable, and aligned to enterprise standards. Working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and strategic direction across the data landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the architecture of modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Develop architectural documentation, technical designs, and standards.
  • Champion Data Mesh and Data-as-a-Product principles across development teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and services to support platform growth.
  • Establish and maintain architectural best practices and governance frameworks.
  • Design secure, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.
  • Create robust data pipelines supporting batch, event-driven, and streaming workloads.
  • Ensure data products are discoverable, trustworthy, and interoperable.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and analysts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape data strategy, roadmaps, and future capabilities.

About You

You are an experienced Data Architect or Data Solutions Architect with strong cloud platform expertise and a passion for modern data architectures. You enjoy solving complex problems, influencing technical direction, and working collaboratively across both technical and non-technical teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Data Architect, Data Solutions Architect, or similar role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such asGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
  • Good understanding ofGoogle BigQuery and modern data platform technologies.
  • Expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and large-scale data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge ofData Mesh, database design, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
  • Experience designing scalable, secure, and governed data solutions.
  • Understanding of data security, compliance, and GDPR requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting technical teams.
