Data Engineer

Hexwired are recruiting for a highly innovative Consultancy based in Reading, now seeking a Data Engineer to design build and operate the company’s data capability for high level applications.

The company are expanding due to the needs of their clients and are seeking a data engineer, who must be eligible for UK security clearance and ideally has previous experience working on distributed systems in production.

Key skills:

* Eligible for UK security clearance.

* Proven experience with opensource data integration and streaming technologies.

* Prior experience as a data or platform engineer working on distributed systems in production.

* Good knowledge of data modelling fundamentals, Data contracts and schema evolution.

* Proven experience in designing for scalability, reliability and operability.
