Data Modeller – AVP & VP

We are partnering with a leading global corporate bank to appoint two specialist Data Modellers – one AVP and one VP – within its growing Data Architecture function.

Both positions are hands-on Data Modelling roles, focused on developing conceptual and logical Enterprise Data Models that support a major Data Platform and its underlying data domains.

You’ll work directly with business SMEs across areas including Operations and Front Office, understanding business services and processes and translating these into clear, consistent data models.

We’re looking for experience across:

• Conceptual and logical Data Modelling
• Enterprise Data Models and entity relationship modelling
• Working directly with business SMEs and technology stakeholders
• Data modelling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio or IDA
• Model change, version and release management
• Data modelling governance and standards
• Banking/Financial Services, ideally including Investment Banking

Knowledge of industry models and standards such as BIAN, DPM, IBM BFMDW, FSLDM or BIRD would also be valuable.

The AVP position is primarily a hands-on individual contributor role for a strong Data Modeller who enjoys personally developing high-quality models.

The VP combines hands-on modelling with greater responsibility for strategy, coordinating the modelling pipeline, prioritisation, governance and oversight of modelling activity.

Both roles offer the opportunity to join a developing capability with EMEA and global exposure, working on a significant data transformation agenda.
