We're recruiting exclusively for a Junior Data Engineer to join a growing organisation investing heavily in its cloud-based data platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in data engineering, working with modern Azure technologies and large-scale business data.

You'll work alongside experienced data and BI professionals to develop and maintain data pipelines, integrate data from a variety of systems, and help deliver trusted, high-quality data for reporting and business decision-making. The role offers exposure to modern data engineering practices, cloud technologies, data modelling, and platform development, with plenty of opportunities for learning and progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and support ETL/ELT data pipelines using modern cloud technologies.

* Assist with integrating and transforming data from multiple business systems.

* Help maintain a scalable, secure, and reliable data platform.

* Develop data quality checks, monitoring, and automated testing processes.

* Work closely with BI and business teams to ensure data is accurate and accessible.

* Document data processes, transformations, and technical solutions.

* Contribute to the ongoing development of data architecture and best practices.

Skills & Experience

* Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject, or equivalent commercial experience.

* Good SQL skills and experience with Python or another programming language.

* Understanding of databases, data modelling, and ETL/ELT concepts.

* Interest in cloud data technologies and modern data platforms.

* Exposure to Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Data Factory, or similar technologies would be advantageous.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What's on Offer

* Opportunity for graduates and junior-level candidates.

* Structured learning and mentoring from experienced data professionals.

* Hands-on experience with modern Azure data technologies.

* Clear progression pathways within data engineering and cloud data platforms.

* Hybrid working model, with remote working also considered for the right candidate.

* Competitive salary and excellent long-term development opportunities
