Junior Quantitative Developer

About the Role

We are recruiting for a fast-paced trading and financial technology environment in London. We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to join a technical team focused on high-performance infrastructure, data pipelines, and quantitative trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

Translate research prototypes into efficient, high-performance C++ production code.

Build, maintain, and optimize simulation and backtesting infrastructure.

*

Ingest, process, and handle high-volume market data feeds and feature pipelines.

*

Develop Python-based utilities for data analysis, experiment tracking, and research support.

*

Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to move system improvements smoothly from development to production.

Skills & Requirements

*

Excellent academic background, holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related quantitative field.

*

0–3 years of hands-on experience working heavily with C++.

*

Strong working knowledge of C++ (including memory management and performance-aware coding) and the Python ecosystem (such as Pandas and NumPy).

*

Practical familiarity with handling large-scale data systems or quantitative finance concepts.
