PCS7 Engineer

We're working with a leading client in the pharmaceutical sector who are looking to engage an experienced PCS7 Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity.

Location: Liverpool
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: Initial 6 months (likely extension)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Working Pattern: Fully onsite, 5 days per week

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role supporting an ongoing pharmaceutical manufacturing project. You'll be working closely with the automation team to design, develop, and implement PCS7 control strategies, with a strong focus on batch processing.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience with Siemens PCS7, ideally on pharmaceutical or GMP-compliant projects

Recent batch processing experience using Siemens Batch (SIMATIC Batch)

Strong coding skills - you must have recent, hands-on experience writing control logic/code

Ability to work on-site in Liverpool, 5 days a week

Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Experience with S88 standards

Familiarity with validation/documentation in regulated industries

Previous experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical sector
