Location: Docklands, London
Contract: 5-day project (possible ongoing work)
Start Date: Wednesday 29th October
Rate: £28 per hour

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a short-term acceleration period project at a secure data centre in the Docklands. The role involves hands-on work with fibre installation and data infrastructure, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest technical and safety standards.

Day and night shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

Fibre installation, patching, dressing in, labelling, and cable pulling.

Installation and management of servers, racks, and related equipment.

Maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy, and documentation.

Work closely with supervisors to meet deadlines during the acceleration phase.

Ensure compliance with all site security, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a data centre, telecoms, or IT infrastructure environment.

Strong technical knowledge of fibre, networking, and hardware installation.

*

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

*

Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass site security clearance.
