Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing investment technology company whose cloud-based platform is transforming the way some of the world's leading financial institutions manage their investment data and operations. Following continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join their highly talented team.

This isnot a traditional software engineering role. They are looking for someone with strongInvestment Management andInvestment Operations knowledge who genuinely understands theInvestment Lifecycle and how investment data and financial products move from front to back office. A strong understanding ofIBOR (Investment Book of Record) environments would be particularly valuable.

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with clients to understand their operating models, investment workflows and data challenges before helping configure and integrate solutions around their requirements. You'll need excellentInvestment Management domain knowledge, including a strong understanding of theInvestment Lifecycle,Investment Operations, financial products andIBOR.

This is a technically light role rather than a development position. You should be comfortable working withSQL, APIs, data integrations and somePython scripting, but your knowledge ofInvestment Management,Investment Operations and theInvestment Lifecycle is considerably more important than advanced software engineering skills. Experience working withIBOR, investment data, fixed income and other asset classes would be highly advantageous.

They are particularly interested in people from investment technology, asset management, implementation, consulting, investment data orInvestment Operations backgrounds who combine strong client-facing skills with an understanding ofIBOR and the widerInvestment Lifecycle. You should be comfortable discussing complexInvestment Management processes with senior stakeholders and using tools such asSQL andPython to help deliver solutions.

The successful Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will have an excellent understanding ofInvestment Management,Investment Operations, IBOR and theInvestment Lifecycle, alongside strong communication and client-facing skills. You should also possess good technical literacy, including exposure toSQL,Python, APIs and data integration.
