A positive onboarding experience that ends with the customer using their real data, relevant to their business, and queryable by their organization is critical to future retention and growth of our customer base. We see this role as a critical step in setting up our two-role account team for success. This will report to the Manager, Customer Activation & Onboarding and sit on the onboarding manager team. You will cross-functionally coordinate between sales, solutions architects, professional services, training, and support and must be located in the United Kingdom.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Manage dbt Lab’s largest accounts to initial product adoption while ensuring an amazing start to their customer journey
  • Clearly communicate with customer’s about account setup requirements and expectations, align on best practices, and motivate key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales, professional services, support, and training to deliver a superior customer experience in a condensed period of time
  • Meet with prospective dbt Cloud customers to assess which service experience makes sense for them
  • Tailor new and existing customer onboarding enablement for your region
  • Work with our customers in EMEA

You are a good fit if you have:

  • Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
  • Are a natural cross collaborator
  • Harbor an extreme attention to detail
  • Can own the (Zoom) room filled with customer executives in varying industries, and aren’t afraid to ask tough clarifying questions
  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Are always thinking about how to balance scale with customer experience
  • Have previously worked in a customer success or customer-facing project management role
  • Can articulate why professional services can speed time-to-value

You'll have an edge if you have:

  • If you used tools like Salesforce, Asana, Rocketlane and Slack
  • Understand how dbt can positively impact a customer’s day-to-day

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions around dbt Lab’s total rewards during your interview process.

  • The typical starting salary range for this role is:
    • £97,000 to £120,000
