A well established manufacturer based in Birmingham is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their friendly team. This is to support, develop and maintain their ERP systems, helping to optimise data management and streamline business processes.
This is a full time, permanent, onsite position with an immediate start. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Responsibilities to include:
• Utilising SQL queries to extract and transform data from various databases
• Designing and maintaining data models to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Creating reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or
other reporting tools such as Power Bi
• Ensuring the efficient performance of SQL databases, including tasks such as
indexing, query optimisation and performance tuning
• Implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy
and reliability of data
• Configuring and maintaining ERP systems to meet the specific needs of the
organisation such as setting up users, permissions, workflows and parameters
• Providing training and support to end-users
• Participate in testing functionality and making changes live
Requirements:
• 2-3 years SQL Server Development: Extensive experience in writing complex SQL
queries, stored procedures, and functions. Familiarity with SQL Server Management
Studio (SSMS) and other related tools
• Knowledge of database management principles, including normalisation, indexing
and performance tuning
• Experience creating reports in SSRS
• ERP system experience
