Role: Creative Teaching Assistant
Salary: £90–100 per day
Location: Shrewsbury

Are you a creative professional with a passion for making a difference? Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants from artistic, dramatic, or musical backgrounds to join our SEND schools in Shrewsbury.

This role is tailored for individuals with a creative spark who can bring energy and innovation to the classroom while supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your creativity will help students thrive by engaging them through sensory play, interactive activities, and fostering their development in areas such as social skills, independence, and communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Creating engaging, interactive activities that capture students’ attention and imagination.
Supporting sensory integration and encouraging positive participation in the classroom.
Assisting teachers in assessing pupils' progress and adapting approaches to meet their needs.
Promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school’s ethos and policies.
Building strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity in student support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
