An exciting new opportunity to work as a Data Controller for our client, a manufacturer of sandwiches, wraps, and salads.

Staffline is recruiting for Data Controller in Avonmouth.

Annual salary is £30 000-£35 000

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:
Monday to Friday - 08:30 a.m. -17:00 p.m.

Temp role up to 3 months.

Your Time at Work
Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, the Data Controller plays a crucial role in managing
and analysing key business data across manufacturing operations.

  • Act as a role model and ambassador towards our Company values.
  • Maintain and manage data reports related to production, inventory, and overall business
    performance.
  • Develop and update Excel-based reports, PivotTables, and dashboards to provide real-time
    operational insights.
  • Assist with the implementation and development of Power BI dashboards for trend analysis
    and performance monitoring.
  • Learn and apply SQL skills to extract and manipulate data from business systems.
  • Automate key data processes to improve reporting accuracy and reduce manual workloads.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across production, planning, and finance to ensure reliable
    data flow and usage.
  • Ensure all data is handled in compliance with internal standards and external regulations,
    including allergen traceability.
  • Support the integration of BarTender Print Station into existing systems for automated label
    generation.
  • Generate reports to support business decisions, operational improvements, and regulatory
    compliance

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, data manipulation).
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and summarise key trends.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
