Role Overview
As an Ecommerce Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping the business better understand its users, their motivations, and how to optimise the online experience to drive growth. You’ll be embedded within the optimisation team and collaborate closely with product managers, marketers, developers, and content leads across the company.
This role is perfect for a commercially aware analyst with a strong understanding of ecommerce funnels, user behaviour, and data-driven decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
Web Funnel Analysis

Evaluate performance at every stage of the ecommerce funnel
Identify risks and opportunities and forecast their potential impact
Merchandising Analysis

Assess which merchandising areas and content yield the most impact
Identify opportunities for personalisation and page-level optimisation
Behaviour Analysis

Examine user interactions with the site, from filtering to search
Use behavioural data to identify optimisations that enhance UX and conversion
SEO Analysis

Monitor and evaluate search performance and rankings
Identify opportunities for content improvement and technical SEO enhancements
Optimisation and Experimentation

Spot CRO testing opportunities
Support experiment design, execution, and post-analysis with ROI impact measurement
User Research

Use surveys and session recordings to understand motivations and pain points
Help develop actionable user personas for use across marketing, product, and UX
Tracking & Reporting Setup

Develop robust event tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Enhance dataLayer specs and implement third-party scripts
Build reporting dashboards in PowerBI
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience

Deep experience with GA4, especially behavioural analytics
Strong SQL skills, ideally with GA4 data in BigQuery
Google Tag Manager configuration, including event setup (server-side GTM a bonus)
Advanced Excel (pivots, PowerQuery, VLOOKUPs, storytelling with data)
Strong foundation in SEO analysis
Working knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimisation techniques
Experience planning and analysing user research tools like heatmaps and surveys
Personality & Traits

Curious, results-driven, and analytical
Ecommerce background preferred
Thrives in a collaborative environment
Comfortable challenging the status quo
Strong communicator who can turn data into insight
Bonus points if you understand or are passionate about PC gaming
