My client is looking for a skilled Elasticsearch Platforms Engineer to join their high-impact Data Infrastructure team. You'll manage and evolve a secure Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) environment, supporting large-scale observability and search capabilities for critical national security missions.

🔧 What You’ll Do:



Manage and maintain Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) infrastructure

*

Design & deploy scalable Elasticsearch solutions for Search and Observability

*

Ensure systems comply with GDPR, HIPAA, and security best practices

*

Troubleshoot and optimise Elasticsearch clusters, queries, and indexing strategies

*

Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams across the delivery lifecycle

*

Contribute to innovation, automation, and continuous improvement

✅ What We’re Looking For:

*

Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, APIs, and components

*

Experience with large-scale Elasticsearch use cases (Observability, Search)

*

Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash, Ansible)

*

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and Kubernetes environments

*

Understanding of data privacy, encryption, and compliance frameworks

*

Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

🌟 Bonus If You Have:

Experience with Cloudera, Hadoop, CDSW, or CML

*

A passion for performance tuning and operational excellence in secure systems

*

Experience leading tech initiatives or cross-functional platform integration
