We're working in partnership with a number of inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Wellingborough, who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and talented English Teachers from September 2025. These full-time, permanent roles offer the chance to teach in supportive departments where innovation, collaboration, and student success are at the heart of everything.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and purposeful English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for experienced candidates)

Foster a love of reading, writing, and effective communication across a diverse student cohort

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners and promote active participation

Contribute to the wider English curriculum through clubs, competitions, and literacy events

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment opportunities

We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in English

Strong knowledge of the English curriculum, exam specifications, and effective pedagogical strategies

A creative, reflective practitioner who can inspire a love of literature and language

High expectations for student achievement and a commitment to inclusive education

Excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply - full induction and professional support will be provided.
