Job Title: Enterprise Systems Architect
Location: Solihull, West Midlands (Hybrid - minimum three days a week on-site, typically Mon, Wed & Thu)
Salary & Benefits: £75,000 - £95,000 DOE + 25 days holiday (increasing with service) + enhanced pension, private medical, life assurance, income protection, enhanced family-friendly leave, and funded professional development

We are recruiting for an Enterprise Systems Architect for an established, product-led connectivity provider whose 20-year track record of innovation and customer service has seen their team grow to 110+ staff and counting. Operating from modern offices in Solihull, their Process & Systems function sits at the heart of the business, driving continuous improvement across CRM, ERP, order-management and billing platforms. Joining this tight-knit group offers direct influence over key architectural decisions as they integrate a recently acquired Manchester-based business unit and modernise internal systems to support further growth.

What the Enterprise Systems Architect will be doing

Designing and documenting scalable software, data and integration architectures that align with strategic objectives.
Translating business and BA-captured requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams.
Leading system integration projects across CRM, ERP, service management and billing domains.
Providing hands-on technical leadership, mentoring developers and collaborating closely with BAs and QA.
Championing best practice in Agile delivery, CI/CD, security, performance and maintainability.
Keeping stakeholders informed through crisp, jargon-free communication and comprehensive documentation.What the Enterprise Systems Architect needs to bring

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide architectures in complex, integrated environments.
Broad knowledge of Microsoft-centric stacks (Azure, C#, SQL Server) plus familiarity with JavaScript, Python or similar.
Strong grounding in microservices, API-driven and event-driven design patterns.
Practical exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure), CI/CD pipelines and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
Solid understanding of CMDB, data management and information-security principles.
