Exciting Opportunity: Geography Teacher - April 2025

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Geography Teacher to join a top-performing school in Harrow, North West London, starting in April 2025!

This is a full-time role until August 2025, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. As a Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students' understanding of the world around them, preparing them for future academic and career success.

What you will be doing as a Geography Teacher:

Delivering engaging Geography lessons that spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking among students.
Teaching Geography at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering key topics such as human and physical geography, environmental sustainability, and global issues.
Encouraging students to develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts, while providing them with the skills to think critically about the world.
Planning exciting, dynamic lessons that bring geography to life, integrating the latest teaching methods and technology.
Assessing and supporting students' progress, ensuring they are fully prepared for exams and beyond.
Collaborating with a dedicated team of Geography Teachers to ensure a stimulating and challenging curriculum.

We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:

Holds a recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Demonstrates a genuine passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students.
Is dedicated to fostering excellent student behaviour and creating a positive, focused learning environment.
Has the ability to engage students and make Geography exciting, relevant, and accessible to all.
Is committed to helping students achieve their full potential and develop a love for lifelong learning.
Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable but not essential.
