I am working with them to find a talented and enthusiastic Growth Engineer to join their small, tight-knit tech team. The successful candidate will help drive growth through innovative, data-driven solutions as the company rapidly scales.

The Ideal Background: For this role, I'm specifically seeking candidates who either:

Have previous experience as a Growth Engineer in a fast-paced technology company
OR have founded/built their own application or digital product, handling all aspects from development to growth and user acquisition. Both paths demonstrate the hands-on, full-stack mindset and growth-oriented approach we're looking for in this role.Role Responsibilities:

Lead our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) efforts, developing and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates across all stages of the customer journey
Design, execute, and analyse A/B tests and other growth experiments, with a particular focus on improving conversion rates and customer retention
Develop and maintain customer retention programmes, leveraging data analytics and behavioural insights to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Customer Delight, to identify growth opportunities and implement CRO and retention solutions
Optimise user acquisition funnels, onboarding processes, and retention strategies through technical innovations
Build and maintain internal tools to support the growth process, with a focus on CRO and retention analytics
Implement robust analytics and data pipelines to inform growth decisions, particularly for conversion and retention metrics
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in growth engineering, CRO, and customer retention strategies
Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and skill developmentKey Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on growth engineering
Strong proficiency in React, NodeJS, and TypeScript
Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong background in data analysis and experimentation methodologies
Proficiency in analytics tools and languages (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL, Python)
Higher Education (Degree, HND or HNC) in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UKAbout You:
