GSL Education are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in North Leicestershire, recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is looking for a passionate and qualified History Teacher to join their dedicated Humanities department from September 2025.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering engaging and imaginative History lessons across KS3 and KS4 that spark curiosity and deepen understanding

Encouraging critical thinking, debate, and historical enquiry in a modern classroom setting

Collaborating with a welcoming Humanities team who share resources and support one another

Taking part in continuous professional development and whole-school initiatives that enhance both teaching and learning

What we’re looking for:

✅ QTS or QTLS and a relevant degree in History or related subject

Up-to-date knowledge of the KS3 & KS4 curriculum

Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management

A DBS on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for one through GSL

A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential
