Internal Sales Coordinator

Job Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week - Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm with a 1pm finish on Friday

A well-respected manufacturing company in Poole are looking for sales support staff to join their hardworking and friendly team.

The sales team are responsible for processing, coordinating and progressing customer projects, overseeing regular and bespoke orders from initial enquiry through to delivery. Your role will involve having conversations with new and existing customers, finding out about their upcoming projects and securing orders.

Some of your duties will include;

  • Speaking to new and exciting customers, finding out about their upcoming projects and discussing how the company’s services can help

  • Dealing with customer enquiries regarding general sales enquiries, stock, progress and pricing

  • Identifying new opportunities within your customer accounts and converting these into sales

  • Actively going out and speaking to potential customers at tradeshows and over the phone, establishing new relationships and offering your services

  • Gathering quote information, loading sales orders on to the system and communicating with manufacturing

  • General office administration including updating internal databases

    Our ideal candidate will possess;

  • Previous experience within a sales support, coordination or business development role would be advantageous

  • A cheerful and friendly disposition

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A proactive approach

  • Good IT skills, experience with Microsoft programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook.
