Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking an IT Software Tester to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client is looking for an IT Software Tester with manual testing experience to join their team in Kings Hill, working closely with the team and other departments across the wider business to ensure that the quality of software developed meets the needs of the business as expected.

This is an office-based role in Kings Hill and will become hybrid after your initial probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding user stories and technical design documents

  • Identify the test scope, create test plans and test cases

  • Liaise with departments across the business on a regular basis to ensure high levels of communication and understanding are maintained at all times

  • Identify areas where process and service improvements can be made and suggest recommendations

  • Answering IT support queries when necessary

    Key Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Software Testing role, with experience in manual testing advantageous

  • Competent with MS Office Programmes

  • Experienced in the creation of testing documentation and executing testing

  • Experience with SQL

  • Knowledge of ClickUp would be beneficial although not essential

    The ideal candidate will have SQL experience and a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a software testing role.
