£38-40k + 7.5% shift bonus

Have you worked on nuclear sites?

What will you be doing?
• Supporting the Production Supervisor in building bespoke nuclear plant assemblies safely, to spec and schedule.
• Setting up and operating machines to produce precision, low volume components to drawings and tight tolerances.
• Assembling, fitting, stripping and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and drive systems (bearings, seals, gears, fittings, etc.) as required.
• Recording measurements, build data and documentation to maintain full traceability and quality compliance.
• Collaborating with engineering, quality, test and HSE teams to solve build issues and keep work on track.

Where will you be doing it?
• Our client operates in the nuclear and defence sector and was founded over 50 years ago.

What you'll need:
• Time-served apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent,
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality,
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometres, verniers),
• Basic lifting, slinging and SC clearance,
• Desirable: MEWP, PASMA, Forklift, Scissor Lift, Spark Eroder, Lifting Supervisor, 5S.
