NET Developer – Remote (UK-Based)

Are you a talented .NET Developer looking for an opportunity to work on innovative software solutions across the energy, education, and AI industries? Our client, an established software group, is expanding their team and seeking a motivated developer to help deliver cutting-edge applications for startups and global brands alike.

As a .NET Developer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving ASP.NET MVC applications and cloud-based services. You will work closely with senior developers, database specialists, and DevOps engineers to build high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#

Work with Postgres and Azure SQL to optimise database structures

Develop serverless applications and scalable cloud-based solutions with Azure Functions

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product managers, and senior engineers

Participate in code reviews and write unit tests to ensure high standards

Stay up-to-date with .NET trends and Azure services

Skills and Experience:

5+ years’ experience in software development

Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and C#

Experience with Postgres and/or Azure SQL databases

Some exposure to Azure Functions and cloud services

Understanding of CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)

Experience with Azure App Services and Azure Service Bus

Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
