A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients that are a dynamic buildings measurement and topographical survey business with a front-end lead capture process that uses cutting-edge technology to provide an instant quote for our clients online. They have grown dramatically since being established in 2018 and offer the highest quality of measured surveys and 3D scanning output for residential and small commercial properties. They have big ambitions and are looking for a Revit Technician or CAD Technician to join their team to create drawings from survey data.
My client currently delivers a minimum of 12 surveys monthly to our array of client base; architects, surveyors, contractors, home builders and homeowners but have ambitions to triple this within 2022. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a solid understanding of Point cloud data capture to revit output as the Revit Technician.
Responsibility & Duties

  • Point Cloud manipulation and Scan-to-BIM outputs in REVIT to produce plans, elevations, sections, topographical information as the Revit Technician
  • Use of AutoCAD to accompany the above
  • Undertaking surveys using 3D laser scanning equipment (Trimble T7)
  • Post-processing of captured point cloud data
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients in a professional manner
  • Attend Weekly team meetings as the Revit Technician
  • Future progression route: Ability to train people and promote surveying best practices using Point Cloud / REVIT outputs.
  • Be responsible for 3D CAD/BIM standards and quality assurance processes within the company
    Experience & Qualification
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT and the use of processing platforms such as LSS, Cyclone and Trimble Realworks and Business Centre
  • Member of RICS advantageous
  • Good organisation, communication and file management skills
  • Technologically savvy with good working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Able to work from point cloud data & ideally from a surveying background
  • Work both autonomously and part of a team as the Revit Technician
