Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Northampton, each known for their supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and commitment to academic excellence. These schools provide a positive and structured environment where both staff and students can thrive. They are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. These full-time, long-term roles are ideal for both experienced Science Teachers and confident ECTs ready to begin or develop their careers in a setting that values innovation, collaboration, and student success.

As a Science Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing the next generation of scientists and critical thinkers.

What you'll be doing:

Planning and teaching dynamic Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Using engaging experiments and real-world applications to deepen understanding

Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure high achievement

Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Supporting curriculum development and contributing to extracurricular science activities

You'll be a great fit if you:

Hold UK QTS or an equivalent Science teaching qualification

Have recent experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

Are passionate about your subject and committed to inspiring young learners

Can manage classroom behaviour effectively and support all students

Are keen to work in a collaborative and supportive department
