Job Title: Science Teacher – Mainstream Secondary School (Middlesbrough)
Location: Middlesbrough
Daily Pay: £160 – £220 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Monday to Friday

Are you a dynamic and engaging Science Teacher ready to spark curiosity and a love for learning in young minds?

Smart Education is currently recruiting a passionate Science Teacher to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, in a setting that supports both academic achievement and personal growth.

As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exciting, curriculum-aligned lessons that bring scientific concepts to life. Whether you're exploring biology, chemistry, or physics, your enthusiasm will help students connect classroom learning with the world around them.

Your Role Will Include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils

Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Monitoring progress, assessing student work, and delivering constructive feedback

Collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and enrichment opportunities

Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive learning attitudes

What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in a Science-related subject

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A proactive, student-centred teaching approach

An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) or willingness to obtain one
