We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our Science Department as a Biology Teacher at a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a newly qualified Science Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young minds and building a rewarding career in education.

You’ll teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 as your experience develops.

✅ What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Biology Teacher (ECT) who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will achieve it by September 2025

Has a degree in Biology or a closely related subject

*

Demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching and a desire to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4

*

Is open to feedback, reflective in their practice, and eager to grow professionally

*

Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a vibrant school community
