Systems Engineer

£36,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits

Are you ready to drive innovation in an advanced automotive environment? Want to work somewhere where your skills make an impact on production, quality, and progress?

I'm working exclusively with a cutting-edge automotive manufacturer in Abergavenny to find an experienced Systems Engineer who will thrive in fast-paced, high-performing environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Maintaining and managing our TCP/IP-based network (including AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS)

Keeping the desktop and server environment running smoothly, minimal downtime, max performance

Supporting voice communication systems, firewalls, and antivirus infrastructure

Helping shape long-term Information Systems strategy and support capacity planning

Creating custom reports from manufacturing databases & developing small-scale applications to solve real-world problems

Making data secure and systems efficient whilst always looking for ways to reduce cost and increase value

Driving improvements across our whole manufacturing systems environment

You’ll need to bring:

Strong experience with Windows Server (2012 and up)

Confident with Active Directory, Windows 10/11, SQL Server (2008+)

Hardware & network troubleshooting skills

The initiative and independence to manage systems, solve problems, and move fast

C# / .NET development or Visual Studio Programming 

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

M365 administration experience

This is a role where you’ll design, improve, secure, and deliver. With direct impact on production and quality, your work helps us build better, faster, smarter
