BI Developer

As a BI Developer in Milton Keynes, you'll play a key role in the analytics team, helping to design and maintain business intelligence solutions that support decision-making across the organisation. This role is all about turning data into actionable insights to help the business in the industrial and manufacturing sector run more efficiently.

Description

• Develop and maintainQlik Sense dashboards, reports and visualisations to support business decision-making.
• Design and builddata models that underpin reporting and analytics solutions.
• Support the migration and development of solutions withinQlik Cloud.
• Create and maintainSQL queries, stored procedures and views to manage and retrieve business data.
• PerformETL activities, extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple systems.
• Ensure data quality by maintainingdata accuracy, consistency and integrity across reporting platforms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Provide user support, training and documentation while continuously improving reporting capabilities and self-service analytics.

Profile

A successful BI Developer should have:

• At least2 years' experience in a BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar Business Intelligence role.
• Strong hands-on experience withQlik Sense and dashboard development.
• ExcellentSQL development skills, including writing complex queries and working with databases.
• Good understanding ofdata modelling and relational database concepts.
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Confident communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Desirable experience withQlik Cloud, ETL processes, Azure, SQL Server, data warehousing, ERP systems, or manufacturing environments.

Job Offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Standard benefits package.
• Permanent role in Milton Keynes.
