Data Analyst

Reed Technology is partnering with a leading health data and research organisation to recruit aData Analyst.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist data team responsible for managing and delivering access to large-scale healthcare datasets. Working with both structured and unstructured data, you will support the delivery of high-quality datasets for research and innovation projects that help improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and development of large-scale data repositories containing healthcare and research data.
• Process, cleanse, validate and transform structured and unstructured datasets.
• Perform ETL activities to integrate data into central repositories.
• Work directly with researchers, clinicians and project teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Provide data feasibility assessments and support projects from initial scoping through to dataset delivery.
• Optimise database queries and contribute to the ongoing performance and reliability of data platforms.
• Ensure data quality standards and governance requirements are maintained throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience working with ETL processes and data integration activities.
• SQL skills, including experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience writing and maintaining data transformation and extraction scripts.
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and identify data quality issues.
• Experience optimising database queries and improving data processing performance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
