Data Engineer | Hybrid | Permanent

Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking to work on modern data platforms, cloud technologies and enterprise-scale analytics solutions? We are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a growing digital transformation function where you will play a key role in building and optimising data infrastructure that supports strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations

• Develop ETL/ELT processes and data workflows

• Create and optimise data models for analytics and reporting

• Support cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing solutions

• Implement data governance, data quality and best practice standards

• Monitor performance, reliability and integrity across data environments

Requirements:

• Commercial experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Analytics Engineer or similar

• Strong SQL skills and data modelling expertise

• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines

• Python or Scala programming experience

• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)

• Understanding of data governance, data quality and data architecture principles

Desirable:

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift or BigQuery

• Exposure to digital transformation, business intelligence or enterprise analytics environments
