Location: London (2 days onsite)

Contract Length: 3 months

Rate: Up to £428.75 per day (Inside IR35)

Overview

We're working with a leading organisation within the financial services / insurance sector who are seeking an experienced Solution Data Architect to support a large-scale data transformation programme.

This role will play a key part in shaping enterprise-wide data architecture, driving consistency across systems, and enabling scalable, governed data flows across core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Define and design end-to-end data flows across multiple systems

Develop and maintain canonical and system-level data models

Design integration mappings aligned to enterprise data architecture standards

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and Data Governance functions

Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across business-critical domains

Support delivery teams with best practice data architecture guidance

Contribute to data ownership, standards, and lifecycle managementKey Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Data Architect

Strong knowledge of:

Data modelling

Integration patterns

Enterprise data architecture design

Confluent Flink experience (highly desirable)

Experience with event-driven architectures / data streaming

Exposure to tools such as Erwin, Power Apps, or Dataverse (desirable)

Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams

Background in insurance or financial services preferred
