Are you a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher ready to explore our planet and its people with young minds? We're searching for a permanent, full-time Geography Teacher to join our Outstanding mixed school in Enfield this September. This is an excellent opportunity to spark a genuine interest in geography and develop crucial critical thinking skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be designing and delivering engaging Geography lessons, fostering a passion for understanding the world and its diverse landscapes and cultures.
  • It's about cultivating students' critical thinking skills and their ability to analyse complex geographical issues, from climate change to urban development.
  • You'll create a stimulating and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore different perspectives and develop their understanding of global challenges.
    What we're looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
  • Experience teaching engaging and effective Geography lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is a big plus.
  • A deep and current understanding of geographical concepts and contemporary global challenges is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong classroom management are key.
